Enhancing Site Evaluation

The SunEye 210 is an integrated Shade Analysis Tool for solar site assessment. It includes a fisheye lens on a digital camera and a dedicated on-board processor to perform digital image processing and analysis to compute shading and solar access percentages. It includes an electronic compass and level, and an inclinometer function for measuring roof pitch and azimuth.

The SunEye comes standard with the following items: a hard carrying case, an AC battery charger, a USB computer interconnect cable, a stylus, and a DVD containing the desktop PC software. All 210 units have worldwide operation and a 2 year limited warranty. User interface available in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Integrated GPS is optional, enabling the automatic detection of session and skyline location. PV Designer software is available as a bundled item for $300 ($100 off the normal base price).

Systems that do not meet these requirements may not operate correctly.
Currently, the SunEye software does not run natively on Mac OS. It is possible, however, to run the SunEye software on a Mac using a Windows emulator, such as Parallels Desktop for MAC, or VMWare.
