When using Roof Azimuth Tool at solmetric.com, why do I get message “Google Earth Plug-in not supported by this browser”?

If using version 8.0 of Internet Explorer, this message will appear. This version of Internet Explorer does not work with the Google Earth Plug-in. To remedy the problem, Internet Explorer 8.0 has a small button to the right of the web address field (near top of the page). It is named “compatibility view:…” Toggle this button and the plug-in should load should work.
